Love this! So easy to talk and think and think and talk but as every action has an outcome, the result of no action is no outcome.

In the world of animation we have a saying that goes “when in doubt, draw”. Great video Evan.

Just sit down and work for 2 hours. Bribe yourself with a treat or short break afterwards. Before you know it, 3 hours of productive work are done. Repeat until it’s habitual. Loosely based on Eben Pagan’s Wake Up Productive.

Dear Evan and believenation, Question for today, simple and easy: pushing myself to do something valuable for me as a human being. In the very moment I am catching myself getting stuck or not productive enough, depressed etc. Maybe write for me, thinking at a higher level, and than taking action to the real problem. ♡ Anna

See Evan it’s true when they say that when the student is ready the teacher will appeared. Or in this case the videos. I have been taking action for the past years and seen an enormous progress and change in my life. At this moment I am working towards getting my business runtas it should have been since I’ve started 4 years ago. First redesign the E-zine then the website and newsletter. Next I’ll work on updating the logo. Yes it’s lots of work but the beauty of it I’m a graphic designer, one of the hardest things working on your own things is your also on of your worst client. To demanding! Thank you for all your wonderful advice. I know I still need lots of hours to catch up pn your videos.

If I find myself in a funk where I am not making any progress or I lose confidence, for me, that means I need to take a break and do something completely different. I will spend time with my family , watch a movie, take a walk, exercise. You will be amazed at what a simple break can do to the mind.

Hey Evan, another great video. Thanks for making these, they’re a big help when you’re looking for that inspiration boost. I’m commenting because I feel like I’m probably one of the leading experts to consult on being in a long lasting, seemingly hopeless funk. Soon to be an expert on how to get out of one! One of the things that I must say is crucial to picking yourself up out of a rut is to alter the patterns of thought that brought you there in the first place. There’s a popular quote from Albert Einstein that says ‘No problem can be solved from the same level of consciousness that created it’, and I’ve found that to be entirely true. At first when I saw that it sounded painfully obvious, but every time I’d find myself running into a brick wall and losing all momentum that quote would echo in the back of my head. It used to annoy me at times and I’d wish old Albert was around to throw a book at, but then I got into the habit of stepping out of my comfort zone of thoughts and looking at things from different angles. Once you can do that consistently you have a much better chance at finding a solution to any problem you come up against than you would have from just focusing on the wall and all the limitations. The best thing you can do is stop repeating the same negative thoughts to yourself and start planning events in your life for positive outcomes. Not just hope it will turn out positively while you continue worrying about what might go wrong. Actually plan for the most realistically optimal outcome and take the steps towards it with full conviction as if the outcome was guaranteed. This won’t make everything you do successful automatically, you’ll still run into new problems and walls to face, but if you approach them with the right attitude your chances of success grow tremendously. Kick yourself in the butt, turn your head around and get moving! Seize the day! I hope this helps someone. Thank you for your time.

It depends on the current; if the tide is high and you don’t mind going with it, then that’s your sails… If you do, I guess you have to think it out… I think proactive people can also wait for their chance, or see the other chances, that requires a workout too! But I guess I was never that ‘brave’ enough for real life American football, but I waited and I’m better now… but I also waited proactively and kept my priorities… @are we all made for ‘stardom’ all the time?

Another great video Evan. I couldn’t agree more about taking action. It doesn’t matter if you screw up a few times because you’ll learn more by screwing up. In 2012 I lost and got conned out of about £25k from my business because I got caught out. It won’t happen again. It could of gone on much longer too and I could of lost much more. Lesson learned. It was hard at the time but I got over it.

I totally agree Gary so many shit ideas raises huge amount of money just because of basic human need of trying to get rich quickly.
