Charles Koch’s point is very good: “Create value for others. Why would your employee want to work for you? Long term success starts with being dedicated to creating value for others … to have a system of mutual benefit where both parties gain. A society of win/win.”

I absolutely LOVEEEEE CARLOS HELU, i totally resonate with him, so many business ppl, entrepreneurs etc, say they work long hours and don’t sleep, dont eat, etc like its a great thing, I totally agree with him, if you have to do that, you lack the discipline in your life that most profess to have! I sooooo love the whole thing but #6 was great for me!!! Thanks Evan!!!

I liked the lesson within the lesson of ‘following your dream’. Even though the dream took much much longer than anticipated, he still followed it. Stay true to the dream even if the journey is not what you expected.

This is scary. Putting these people on the pedestal has promoted so many false illusions. I know as I studied portfolio finance. Big money requires less risk and less moral qualities to work for you. Gates has said he got lucky and once in Forbes he realized once you are in the 1% one can easily live off interest and do nothing for humankind. Fortunately he is a good philanthropist but not his buddies. Gates has said he is appalled at the immorality of forbers and how little taxes he has to pay relative to his wealth. Under the current system there is 1 in 10000000 chance you ll make it in Forbes. It is an excellent way to keep people flipping burgers in a proportionately higher tax bracket than these billionaires that have accountants and lobbies in govt to help them get away with murder. poor people that watch this and masturbate over these illusions you need to understand it’s all part of the plan. The forbers need to tell you to work hard, care for family and be honest. If you believe they live under those principles you are such a sucker. If you really want inspiration read about courageous people like Lincoln, MLK or Mandela. They cared more about the common man and justice. They had a dream not an illusion, big difference. Forbes people hate them as they Screw up their cynical schemes.

This whole video is awesome. I am fresher starting out my career. Each point mentioned is needed to make a wholesome life, but the point which hits me most is Jeff Bezos’s “Step ferociously”. We all need to take firm steps, one at a time. Strong steps and being strong minded. Thanks Evan for the wonderful insights.

I already try to adhere to #5 100%. Also love #6 I have found the same thing. #8 was eye opening when I watched the full interview via Investor’s Archive. #10 was also of course classic. Of course everybody was on point.
